Matthew Berchtold

Matthew Berchtold has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2019. From 2007 to 2009, they worked for BP in various roles such as Process Engineering Intern, Offshore Facility Engineer, Integrity Management Engineer, and Senior Offshore Facility Engineer. In 2018, they were an Investment Banking Summer Associate at J.P. Morgan. From 2017 to 2019, they were employed at Context Labs BV, where they held the roles of Director of Product Development, Program Manager for Climate Impact Initiatives, and Vice President & General Manager of CXL Energy. During this time, they also completed their MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management.

Matthew Berchtold received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University in 2009. Matthew then obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in December 2015. In 2017, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the MIT Sloan School of Management, with certificates in Finance and Sustainable Energy. In September 2022, they are expected to obtain a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
