Simon Berthou

Simon Berthou is an experienced Ultrasound Scientist currently working at ContextVision AB since February 2025, with prior experience at SuperSonic Imagine from January 2020 to February 2025. Previously, Simon held various positions, including Chef de projet Bancs at Safran Electronics & Defense, overseeing test bench requirements and validation projects from July 2018 to December 2019. Prior roles include project leadership at ALTEN and optoelectronics engineering at Thales, with a focus on optoelectronic test benches and extreme environment testing. Simon holds a PhD from Ecole normale supérieure, specializing in optoelectronic studies of graphene-based heterostructures, and has engaged in research internships and practical training in prestigious institutions such as ESPCI Paris and Philips.
