Sr Manufacturing Engineer at Continental Aerospace Technologies™

Webb Travis has extensive work experience in manufacturing and engineering roles. Webb is currently working as a Sr Manufacturing Engineer at Continental Aerospace Technologies™ since September 2021. Prior to this, Webb worked at Airbus Group Inc. as a Manufacturing Engineer from August 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they supervised the operations of the CNC shim center and ensured the precise fabrication of aircraft components.

Before joining Airbus, Webb was a Partner at Emerald Coast Motorsports from November 2015 to July 2019. In this role, they planned and fabricated custom aftermarket modifications for vehicles, conducted research and development for new machined products, and provided consultation for car builds.

Webb also has a background in the United States Air Force. Webb served as the Chief Inspector, Quality Assurance from June 2018 to April 2019. In this position, they led a team responsible for inspecting regulatory compliance and evaluating maintenance actions. Prior to this, they held the position of NCOIC (Production Lead) from November 2016 to February 2018, where they led daily operations for machinist/welding maintenance for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter fleet. Webb also served as an Aircraft Metals Technology Craftsman from February 2013 to November 2016, where they designed, machined, welded, and fabricated precision tools and components.

Webb Travis is currently pursuing a degree in Technology at The University of West Alabama, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2019. Prior to this, from 2010 to 2013, they attended the Community College of the Air Force and obtained an Associate's degree in Aircraft Metals Technology. In 2002 to 2003, Webb attended Southern Union State Community College, where they studied Business Administration and Management, without completing a degree. Before that, from 2000 to 2002, they attended Wallace Community College Selma, also studying Business Administration and Management, without completing a degree.
