Dan Bafia

Dan Bafia is an experienced geophysicist currently serving at Continental Resources as a Geophysicist in the Midland Basin and as Manager of Geophysics since March 2020. Prior to this role, Dan acted as a Consultant in the oil and gas sector from November 2019 to March 2020. Significant prior experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at White Star Petroleum, managing a productive oil and gas company, and holding various leadership positions within the geoscience department. Dan's background covers a range of companies such as American Energy Partners, SandRidge Energy, Devon Energy, and Marathon Oil Corporation, focusing on vital regions including the Permian Basin and the Gulf of Mexico. Dan holds a Master’s Degree in Geophysics from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Purdue University.
