Jon Megli

Jon Megli, PE, is a seasoned Staff Production Engineer at Continental Resources with a focus on maximizing production and minimizing downtime. Since June 2012, Jon has held several roles, including Supervisor of Northern Region Production - Bakken and Reservoir Engineer. Significant contributions include evaluating artificial lift applications for wells at depths of 7,000’-11,000’, overseeing over 350 wells with a production exceeding 40 MBOEPD, and collaborating with various companies for infrastructure design and coordination. Jon's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from Southwest Baptist University. Additional training includes participation in Dale Carnegie Training in 2017.
