Daniel Biensfeld is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and materials, currently serving as the Head of Chemical Raw Materials and the Head of Innovation Field Sustainable Materials at Continental since January 2017. Prior roles at Continental include Product Development and Field Application Engineer for Commercial Specialty Tires and Explore R&D Trainee for Tires. Daniel also contributed to product development for Truck Tires. Prior to Continental, Daniel worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Leibniz Universität Hannover from November 2013 to December 2016 and founded the start-up project "Polymer-basierte Leiter." Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry, a Master of Science in Material and Nanochemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, all from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
