Dean Major

Dean Major is a seasoned professional specializing in continuous improvement, lean methods, agile practices, supply chain management, and quality assurance. They have held positions such as Quality Continuous Improvement Manager at Flowserve Corporation (2019 - 2024) and Process Innovation Demand Management Supply Chain Manager at Newport News Shipbuilding (1996 - 1999). Dean is also a Six Sigma Black Belt, certified through BMG, and has worked in various capacities at Continental, including Supply Chain Manager and North American Lean and Continuous Improvement Coach. Currently, Dean is engaged in business consulting since 2024, focusing on automotive parts manufacturing and shipbuilding quality. They hold multiple advanced degrees from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor’s degree from Christopher Newport University.
