Thomas Eckenfels is currently a Product Industrialization Engineer for Passenger Car and Light Truck Tires at Continental, a position held since March 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Masterstudent at Schaeffler from September 2016 to March 2023, where Thomas participated in a master's promotion program and completed a seminar project on parameter validation of the impregnation process for electric traction motor manufacturing, as well as a master's thesis focused on optimizing bending processes in hairpin windings. Additionally, Thomas completed a dual education program as a Two in One-Student, acquiring a degree in Industrial Mechanics and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, followed by a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Offenburg University of Applied Sciences. Thomas has also conducted a Bachelor thesis on quality assurance in the production of hairpin welds at Schaeffler Automotive. The academic journey includes an international internship in Thailand.
