Katie Kirk, PsyD, LAC, currently serves as the Group Managing Editor for Behavioral Health at Continued, having held the position since January 2023. Concurrently, Katie is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Consultant specializing in gender equity at Black Sand Therapeutic Services, LLC, a role pursued since January 2021. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente as Team Lead for Gender Health and Behavioral Health, and various therapist positions at organizations such as Children's Hospital Colorado and the Colorado Department of Corrections. Katie holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver and has completed extensive training in therapeutic methods, including EMDR.
