Matt Howard

Matt Howard has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Matt most recently worked as an Application Engineer at Continuous Composites starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Safeguard Equipment from June 2020 to September 2022. From April 2018 to June 2020, they worked as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at JETSEAL, Inc. Before that, they held the position of Engineer & Project Manager at Transtector Systems from April 2007 to January 2018. Matt also worked as a Manufacturing Project Engineer at Pyrotek from July 2004 to 2007. Their earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Designer at Automated Systems of Tacoma from February 1997 to May 2002, and as an Automated Machine Manufacturer at Irwin Research & Development from 1996 to 1997. Overall, Matt has contributed to various aspects of engineering, including design, manufacturing, and project management.

Matt Howard has a diverse educational background. Matt earned an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Computer-Aided Drafting from ITT Technical Institute in 1996. Following this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Eastern Washington University, which they attended from 2002 to 2004. Most recently, in the years 2015 to 2017, Matt pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management at the University of Idaho.

In addition to their formal education, Matt has also acquired various certifications. These include the Essentials of Leadership Mastery Check from DDI, the How to Effectively Manage Multiple Locations certification from SkillPath Seminars, and the Managing Today's IT and Technical Professionals certification from AMA. Matt has also completed the New Manager Boot Camp program at UC Berkeley and various SolidWorks modeling certifications through Quest Integration.
