Product Manager - AI at Contlo

Neelayan Sikdar has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2020, they worked as a Deep Learning Intern at ATEva, where they utilized Python and Apache MXNet to build a Handwriting Text Generation and Recognition model. They then joined Amazon as an SDE Intern in 2021, where they gained experience in Java, SpringBoot, and testing frameworks. Neelayan received a Pre-Placement Offer during their internship and transitioned to a Software Development Engineer - 1 role, focusing on PayStation Sandbox and Payment Services. They worked with Reactjs, TypeScript, Java, and AWS components to create multiple APIs. In 2022, they joined Contlo as a Product Manager and in 2023, they continued working in that role. Before that, Neelayan co-founded Find Your Passion in 2020, where they designed and launched an online training program. They also worked at Mad About Sports, initially as an intern and later as a Product Manager in the Founder's Office. During this time, they coordinated with the marketing team, implemented a new landing page design, managed day-to-day operations, and built a Discord community. Prior to these roles, Neelayan served as a guitarist at Western Technology Music Society (WTMS), actively participating in musical productions.

Neelayan Sikdar completed their Bachelor of Technology degree in Instrumentation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2022. Before that, they attended Bhavan's Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir from 2012 to 2016 and again from 2016 to 2018, although the degree and field of study completed during those years are not specified. Neelayan also obtained several certifications, including Introduction to Software Product Management, Algorithmic Toolbox, Deep Learning Specialization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Sequence Models, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Machine Learning. These certifications were obtained from Coursera between 2019 and 2020.
