Asher Syed is a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer at Contour Software since May 2021, where significant achievements include a 90% reduction in cloud costs by migrating applications to AWS Kubernetes and enhancing CI/CD processes with GitHub Actions for a 70% error reduction. Prior to this, Asher served as Lead (DevOps) at WizTech Pakistan, deploying Kubernetes clusters on Azure and achieving a 100% reduction in deployment time through automated CI/CD pipelines. As Technical Lead (DevOps) at Softech Worldwide, streamlined deployment processes were implemented, cutting release cycles by 50% and enhancing database transformation reliability by 50%. Beginning as a Software Engineer from November 2000 to July 2016, Asher developed a broad expertise in software development, infrastructure management, and cloud technologies. Education was completed at Karachi University and PAF School, Maripur.
