Joseph Hall

Joseph Hall has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Joseph is currently the Lead Frontend Engineer on the founding team at Contra, a professional community for independent individuals. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Software Engineer from March 2012 to June 2020. Joseph also served as a Frontend Engineer at oak.is from September 2017 to November 2019, and at both Monograph and Dixon & Moe from May 2018 to October 2018.

Joseph Hall has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Computer Science from New York University. Joseph also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from the same university. Additionally, they studied Turkish & Turkish Politics at The Atatürk Institute for Modern Turkish History at Boğaziçi University. In 2018, they obtained certification as a Private Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration.
