Sam Coronado

Sam Coronado has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Starting as a Student Supervisor at the University of North Texas Media Library, Sam was promoted to Special Projects Assistant in 2013, and then to Stacks Manager at Texas Woman's University in 2014. In 2016, Sam began working as a Systems Administrator II and System Administrator I at the University of North Texas System. In 2018, Sam joined Armor Cybersecurity as a Security Engineer and Solutions Consultant, where they identified gaps in cloud security controls and consulted on how to address them. In 2022, Sam began their current role as Senior Software Engineer at ContraForce.

Sam Coronado obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from the University of North Texas between 2009 and 2013. In 2015, they completed the Onsite Immersive Program Certificate of Achievement in Full Stack Web Development from Coding Dojo. In 2018, Sam obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate and Amazon Web Services Security Specialty certifications from AWS.
