Brian Mason

Brian Mason is an accomplished entrepreneur and venture partner with a strong background in technology and education. Currently serving as a venture partner at Contrary, an investment firm, Brian also founded OriginApps, a collection of applications. Previously, Brian founded Agis Companies, LLC, which developed an AI image generation mobile app that scaled to over 350,000 users and generated significant revenue. As a co-founder of Codeocity, a local online programming tutoring company, Brian successfully trained a team of instructors and taught numerous students, generating over $22,000 in revenue. Additionally, Brian established CodeUp, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching coding to middle schoolers, with funding support from Codeocity. Brian is pursuing education at Duke University, building on a strong foundational education from Walt Whitman High School.
