Maxx Yung

Maxx Yung is a dedicated bioengineering professional currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Nanotechnology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering and Materials Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Maxx has gained extensive research experience as a Neuroscience Researcher at both the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and Stanford University School of Medicine, focusing on neural pain circuits and neuronal population dynamics. Additionally, Maxx has worked as a Nanofabrication Researcher at the Singh Center for Nanotechnology and as a Biomaterials Researcher in Penn's Materials Science and Engineering department. Currently, Maxx is a Senior Research Fellow at Contrary, focusing on deeptech, biotech, and semiconductors, while also serving as a Fellow at the 776 Foundation, where they are involved in bio and climate tech research.
