Rodney Hearn has a significant amount of work experience in the electrical design and management field. Rodney began their career in 1972 as a Designer at Duke Engineering & Services, where they worked on various projects for clients, including Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company and Tapoco, Inc. Rodney then became a Senior Designer, overseeing the design development of fire protection and communication systems for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station.

In 1998, Rodney joined Duke Energy- Energy Delivery Services as a Senior Technical Specialist, supervising the mapping survey crews and the documentation of the City of Austin's network underground mapping project. Rodney also held the role of Supervisor, Design and CAD Support, where they assessed the drafting section's skill set, evaluated drafting standards, and implemented improvements. Additionally, they served as a Project Manager, leading a team on various Austin Energy projects.

Rodney continued their career at Shaw Energy Delivery Services, Inc. as a Relay & Controls Design Supervisor from 2004 to 2008. Rodney then joined Pike Energy Solutions and worked in the same role until 2013. At UC Synergetic, they served as a Protection & Controls Designer 4 from 2013 to 2014.

Most recently, Rodney has worked for Control Infotech, Inc. as the Electrical Design Manager since November 2015.

Throughout their career, Rodney has gained expertise in electrical design, project management, team leadership, and client communication.
