Andrew Gilholm

Andrew Gilholm has over two decades of experience in analysis and communications, focusing on China and Korea. Currently serving as Principal and Director of Analysis at Control Risks since January 2005, Andrew has also held the positions of Head of Asia Analysis and Senior China and Korea Analyst. Prior to Control Risks, Andrew worked as a Northeast Asia Analyst at Oxford Analytica and as a Communications Specialist for China at Microsoft. Andrew began his career as an East Asia Analyst at MacIvor Grant. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in East Asian Politics and International Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, both from the University of Hull.
