Ann Strachan

Ann Strachan serves as a Senior Risk Consultant at Control Risks since January 2024, where responsibilities include evaluating crisis situations and developing intelligence communications for clients in high-stress environments. Prior to this role, Ann was a Manager of Risk Management at DiDi, leading risk assessments in Mexico and Brazil, and balancing business objectives within the risk landscape. Ann's prior experience includes serving as a Global Security Analysis Sr. Lead at Uber, where data-driven analyses of security incidents supported adjustments within the organization. Ann also has an extensive background in intelligence and security analysis from roles at U.S. European Command Joint Intelligence Operations Center, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and as a Research Associate at Council on Hemispheric Affairs. Ann holds a Master of Arts in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from New York University.
