Caspar Leighton

Caspar Leighton serves as the Global Communications and Content Director at Control Risks since January 2015, leading both external and internal communications while shaping messaging for product launches, campaigns, and strategic initiatives. Previously, as a Senior Communications Manager at the same company, Leighton initiated editorial and brand guidelines for public content and oversaw the transition to digital content campaigns, including the creation of a new corporate website. Prior experience includes a tenure at BBC News from May 2001 to January 2015, where Leighton held various editorial positions, such as Editor for Newsday and Newshour, and served as the West Africa Correspondent, managing teams and shaping news narratives across multiple platforms. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from University College London (UCL).
