Edward Johnson

Edward Johnson is an experienced professional in special risks analysis, currently serving as Director at Control Risks since July 2022, where Edward previously held the position of Associate Director. Prior to this role, Edward was with Sibylline Ltd from June 2014 to July 2022, progressing through various titles including Head of Global Intelligence and Deputy Head of Analysis. Early career experiences include internships in market research, public events, and transport infrastructure assessment, which laid the groundwork for a focus on political risk analysis, particularly in relation to Eurasia, including Ukraine and Russia. Edward holds a Master's degree in Politics, Security and Integration from UCL SSEES and has pursued advanced studies in Ukrainian language and literature at Harvard University and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
