Gary McCallum

Gary McCallum has extensive experience in security and risk management, currently serving as an Embedded Consultant and Project Security Advisor to JICA in Iraq at Control Risks since September 2003. In this role, Gary has managed operational aspects for various projects across Iraq, contributing to start-up initiatives for the Embassy of Sweden in Baghdad and the Rumalia Operating Organization, while also supporting significant clients such as ExxonMobil, Schlumberger, and Chevron. Prior to this, Gary held multiple roles with the UK Police - Royal Ulster Constabulary GC, including Police and National Close Protection Officer, from January 1985 to September 2003. Gary's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Risk and Security Management from the University of Portsmouth, along with additional studies at ASET and Stonebridge Associated Colleges.
