Ishita Burman

Ishita Burman is a researcher at Control Risks since September 2023, previously serving as an associate researcher. Prior experience includes working as an analyst at Sattva Consulting, where Ishita reported on project delivery bottlenecks and enhanced client responsiveness through the Customer Satisfaction feedback mechanism. Ishita's background also includes an internship focused on identifying project lifecycle challenges and developing guidelines for improved process adherence. An exchange ambassador at The University of British Columbia, Ishita promoted study abroad programs, while earlier roles included kitchen staff at The Well Pub and volunteering at the All Bengal Women’s Union, where English instruction and communication skills were taught. Leadership experience includes serving as president of the Interact Club at Calcutta International School, organizing community service events. Ishita holds a Master of Science in International Relations and Affairs from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from The University of British Columbia, with additional studies at the University of Nottingham.
