James Fitzsimmons

James Fitzsimmons is a seasoned professional in the field of information security and management, currently serving as a Principal and Director at Control Risks since April 2017. Previously, James held the position of Associate Director - Cybersecurity at KPMG Singapore, where solutions were provided for security and management challenges across the ASEAN region. James also served as a Director at MF8 International, focusing on the implementation of security and management programs, and as IT Security Manager Asia at Celanese, where physical and IT security design for the Shanghai R&D facility was led. Early in the career, James worked as a Security Consultant at Vauban Consulting, providing IT security architecture and strategy for businesses in China, and as a Security Strategist at Cambridge Technology Partners and Novell, where security strategy and identity management projects were executed.
