James Sinclair is currently the Director of Corporate Security at Mercado Libre, where they are responsible for readiness, response, and recovery from high impact security events globally. Previously, James served as a Partner at Control Risks, leading their Crisis and Security Consulting practice in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean from 2018 to 2019. In this role, James oversaw tactical, operational, and strategic risk consulting solutions and managed the Executive Protection and Embedded Consulting business in the region. James holds a Joint Honours Degree in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Leeds and a Diplomado in Crisis Management and Business Continuity from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.
