John Bruce

John Bruce is a seasoned security consultant with extensive experience in planning and executing security operations in volatile regions, particularly in support of major oil and gas projects. At Control Risks, John has served as a security consultant since July 2021, following a progression of roles including senior operations manager and journey management coordinator for ExxonMobil projects in southern Iraq. Previous roles encompass leadership positions with G4S in maritime security and various capacities within the British Army, where John managed complex operational issues and trained personnel. John holds a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Security Management from The Security Institute and a BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Management Studies from Wiltshire and Somerset College.
