John Lane

John Lane is a seasoned professional in crisis management and threat assessment with extensive experience spanning several decades. Since January 2008, Lane has served as Vice President of Crisis Management Consulting at Control Risks. Previously, Lane founded the Association Of Threat Assessment Professionals in 1992 and held the position of Partner at The Omega Threat Management Group, Inc. from 1997 to 2007, focusing on workplace violence and celebrity stalking consultations. Additionally, Lane served as a Lieutenant with the Los Angeles Police Department from 1972 to 1997, where the last assignment involved developing and overseeing the Department's Threat Management Unit. John Lane holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
