Lauren Carty is a managing editor with a decade of expertise in editorial leadership and strategic communications in geopolitics and AI. Previously, they served as Editorial Lead at Control Risks, where they refined security threat assessments and improved product processes. In roles including Managing Editor and Senior Editor at Control Risks, Lauren established editorial functions, trained consultants, and oversaw high-impact content that supported critical business decisions. They also worked as an Artificial Intelligence Analyst at Digitive, applying advanced machine learning techniques. Currently, Lauren is pursuing a Master of Arts in Near and Middle Eastern Studies at The University of Chicago while continuing their undergraduate studies in Spanish Language and Literature and Arabic Studies at Binghamton University.
