Pete Cowan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in threat intelligence and law enforcement. Currently serving as a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst at Control Risks since February 2025, Pete previously held roles such as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Consultant at NCC Group and a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at SecAlliance. Prior to this, Pete gained technical expertise as a Network Engineer at Computer Network Specialists Ltd. and developed strong communication skills during a tenure as a Police Constable with Kent Police. With a background that includes serving as a Royal Marine Commando for nearly nine years, Pete brings a diverse skill set and a commitment to ongoing professional development, complemented by a Diploma in Policing from the College of Policing.
