Særún Þorláksdóttir is a senior due diligence researcher and serves as a UN Women UK Delegate for both 2023 and 2024. Previously, Særún worked in various roles, including as a Domestic Violence Counselor at Kvennaathvarf and supported individuals with disabilities in multiple capacities within Reykjanesbaer. Særún holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University and a Master of Science in Global Crime, Justice, and Security from The University of Edinburgh, where they achieved a Merit. Currently, Særún is pursuing a Diploma in Public Administration at Háskóli Íslands.
