Zhixing Zhang

Zhixing Zhang is an accomplished professional in global risk analysis with extensive experience in geopolitical consulting and strategic assessment. As the Associate Director of Global Risks Analysis at Control Risks since February 2021, Zhixing leads a collaborative team focused on political, security, and operational risks in China and Northeast Asia, delivering innovative solutions and identifying new consultancy opportunities. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Asia Pacific Analyst at Stratfor from May 2008 to February 2020, where Zhixing shaped strategic analysis and provided intelligence guidance on Asia-Pacific geopolitical issues, along with producing analytics for various clients. Additionally, Zhixing has contributed as a columnist for Yicai and other platforms, and worked as a research assistant at The Brookings Institution. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs, a Master's in Public Administration from Renmin University of China, and a BA in Political Science and Public Administration from Peking University.
