Sean Finnerty

Sean has over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry holding senior sales leadership positions at both private and public companies.

Prior to joining ControlRad as Vice President of Sales, Sean was the National Sales Manager at Cartiva Inc., a venture-backed company that developed and marketed medical devices for the treatment of osteoarthritis. While there, he was responsible for the commercial launch of the first-ever FDA PMA-approved Cartiva Synthetic Cartilage Implant for the treatment of great toe arthritis. He was part of the leadership team that executed a successful exit to Wright Medical in October 2018. Earlier in his career, Mr. Finnerty held sales leadership positions with Stryker, Carticept Medical Inc., and Integra LifeSciences and has extensive experience in building high performing teams and growing businesses in the orthopedic market.

Mr. Finnerty holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and is a combat veteran.
