Joe Freda

Joe Freda is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience across various leadership roles in the technology and finance sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at Contruent and as Faculty & Mentor at PE-Xcelerate, Joe previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Flexera Software from 2008 to 2020, where oversight included global financial strategy and operations. Prior roles include Vice President & Division Controller at Sallie Mae, Controller at InstallShield Software Corporation, and VP Revenue Accounting at Platinum Technology Inc. Additionally, Joe gained foundational experience as a Director at Price Waterhouse. Educational credentials include an MS in Accounting and an MBA in Business Administration from DePaul University, along with a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
