Vice President, Indigenous And Community Affairs at Conuma Coal

Lisa Risvold has extensive work experience in Indigenous and community affairs, as well as government and environmental management roles. Lisa is currently the Vice President of Indigenous and Community Affairs at Conuma Resources, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Indigenous, Community, and Government Affairs at Conuma Resources from September 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Conuma Resources, Lisa worked at Teck Resources Limited for over a decade. Their roles at Teck Resources included Acting Superintendent of Environment and Closure, Manager of Closure at Cardinal River Operations, and Acting Superintendent of Environment and Manager of Closure. Their tenure at Teck Resources also included positions such as Acting Superintendent of Environment and Senior Coordinator of Community and Aboriginal Affairs. Lisa's early work experience includes a role as the Communications and Extension Manager at Foothills Research Institute from April 1998 to July 2008.
