Ryan Staschuk has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ryan is currently a Board Member at the Western Canadian Shippers' Coalition. Prior to this, they held leadership positions at Conuma Resources, including Vice President of Marketing, Product Quality & Logistics, Director of Marketing & Logistics, and Commercial Director. Before joining Conuma Resources, they worked at Ridley Terminals Inc. as the Manager of Business Development and Finance and as an Assistant Controller. Additionally, they served as the Loans Committee Chair and Director at Community Futures of the Pacific Northwest. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Tax and Valuations Accountant at Martin & Henry Chartered Accountants and as a Contractor at the Office of the Auditor General of Canada. Ryan also served as a Director and Secretary-Treasurer at The Mob Power Charitable Foundation.
Ryan Staschuk completed their education at various institutions. Ryan began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Political Science from Simon Fraser University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued further education in the field of Accounting by attending The University of British Columbia from 2007 to 2008, where they received a degree in Accounting & Finance, known as DAcc. Continuing their studies in Accounting, Ryan attended the CA School of Business from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Accounting, also known as CA.
In addition to their formal education, Ryan Staschuk has obtained various certifications to strengthen their professional qualifications. Ryan became a Chartered Accountant (CA) through the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in July 2011. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in June 2015.
