Alberto Riva

Alberto Riva has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, spanning over two decades. Riva's career began as an Internship Researcher at the University of Strasbourg and Pavia before progressing to roles at Schering Plough as a Sales Representative and Junior Brand Manager. Subsequent positions at Johnson & Johnson included Sales Director Primary Care and National Sales Director in Italy. At Eli Lilly, Riva held several senior leadership roles, including VP of Sales in the USA and President and General Manager in Brazil, South Korea, and Israel, where significant achievements included launching a migraine product and consistently surpassing revenue targets. After a tenure at Elanco as President and General Manager of operations in China, Riva is currently Vice President Commercial Ostomy Care Europe at Convatec. Riva holds a Master's degree in Pharmacy from Università degli Studi di Pavia, a Master in Marketing from SDA Bocconi, and completed the International Executive Program at INSEAD.
