Conor Lowry

Conor Lowry has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Conor is currently working at Convatec as a Senior Manager / Associate Director of Technical Projects in Continence Care. Prior to this, Conor worked at DePuy Synthes Companies in various roles, including New Product Development Manager, Team Lead for Biomechanics R&D and Hips R&D, and Staff Bioengineer. Conor also worked at Summit Medical Group Ltd as a Senior Project Manager / Design Manager, managing a team of engineers in the design of orthopedic implants and instrumentation. Additionally, Conor has experience at Corin Group PLC as a Senior Research Engineer, Research Engineer, and Product Development Engineer, focusing on research, development, and design of orthopedic implant systems. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Industrial Designer at And-Design and as a Junior Biomedical Engineer at Nova Science.

Conor Lowry holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Cranfield School of Management, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Ulster Jordanstown in 2003-2004. In 2003, Conor also earned a Certificate in Medical Science from the Royal College of Surgeons. Conor began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Product Design from the University of Limerick / NCAD, Dublin, which they completed from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Conor has obtained various certifications, including Agile Project Management with Microsoft Project, Business Development: Strategic Planning, Strategic Planning Foundations, Finance Foundations, and Managerial Finance Foundations from LinkedIn. Conor also holds a Prince2 Practitioner certification from APMG-International, obtained in 2014, and a CEng FIMechE designation from IMechE, achieved in 2012. Conor is also a Chartered Manager (CMgr) FCMI, certified by the Chartered Management Institute.
