Derek O'Boyle

Derek O'Boyle is currently the Global Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research at Convatec, a role they have held since 2025. With a strong background in health economics, Derek previously served as the Global Director at Alcon and worked as a Health Economist in various capacities, including at Novartis and as a freelancer. They pursued a PhD at the National University of Ireland, Galway, where they also taught statistics and completed an MSc in Health Economics with first-class honors. Derek's research contributions include being the main author on significant reports addressing health issues in Ireland.
