Harrison Preusse is a human factors engineer dedicated to improving user interactions with technology through user-centered research. Currently interning with Emergo by UL, they consult on the creation of safe and effective medical devices, guiding companies through the FDA human factors approval process. At New Mexico State's Intergroup Human-Robot Interaction Lab, Harrison leads studies focused on enhancing human-automation interaction, collaborating with notable organizations such as the Toyota Research Institute. With a Master's in Experimental Psychology earned in Spring 2021, they have also contributed to projects for NASA and co-designed significant studies on socially facilitative technology for isolated populations.
