Rick Sargent

Rick Sargent is an experienced medical illustrator and animator, currently serving as the owner of Sargent Illustration & Design since June 2006, where a dedicated team provides professional medical illustration and animation services to the healthcare industry. Concurrently, Rick operates as a vendor for ConvaTec, developing animations and illustrations for product education and marketing. Since 2013, Rick has been sharing expertise as an adjunct professor at The Citadel, teaching illustration and animation. Previous roles include Senior Medical Illustrator at The Evidence Store, where Rick focused on trial consulting and creating demonstrative exhibits, and Medical Illustrator at Hughston Sports Medicine Hospital, responsible for medical illustrations and art direction. Rick holds a Master of Science in Medical Illustration from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from The University of Georgia.
