Suzanne Thoms

Suzanne Thoms has a diverse and extensive work experience. Suzanne is currently working as a Commercial Director at Convatec since 2022. Previously, they held various positions at Fresenius Kabi UK, including Business Unit Manager, Head of Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Marketing, and Marketing Manager, from 2014 to 2021. Additionally, they served as the Chair of the MNE Committee at the British Specialist Nutrition Association from 2020 to 2021, and as the Chair of the Strategic Affairs Group from 2017 to 2019. Before that, Suzanne worked as the Commercial Director, Corporate Projects and Programmes at Your Housing Group in 2013. Suzanne held roles at the NHS, including Director of Marketing, NBD and Communications at Alder Hey NHS Foundation Trust, and Director of Business Development at Alder Hey NHS Trust, from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, Suzanne worked at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as the Head of Customer Marketing and as a Regional Sales Manager and Marketing Executive. Suzanne also served as a Sales & Marketing Manager at BUPA Hospitals/Group/Insurance and as a Territory Sales Manager at AstraZeneca.

Suzanne Thoms holds a BSc [Hons] degree in Marketing from Sheffield Hallam University, which they completed from 1986 to 1990. In 1997-1998, they pursued an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing CIM at the University of Chester. In 2017-2023, Suzanne acquired Fellow Status in Marketing Leadership from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Suzanne also obtained the certification of CIM FCIM Member from the same institution in February 2018. Furthermore, Suzanne has a background in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Association of British Pharmaceuticals at The University of Manchester, with the exact timeframe unspecified.
