Wayne Simmons

Wayne Simmons has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in engineering and process development. Wayne began their career at Airbus Group as a manufacturing engineer apprentice, where they gained valuable industry knowledge. Wayne then transitioned to Rolls-Royce as a manufacturing engineer, focusing on updating manufacturing instructions and implementing improvements on the shop floor. After that, they joined Glen Dimplex as a manufacturing engineer before moving on to ConvaTec. At ConvaTec, Wayne held multiple positions, including Process Engineer, Engineering Integration Leader, Process Development Lead Engineer, and currently serves as the Principal Engineer - Process Development. Wayne's expertise lies in process development, manufacturing engineering, and integration, making him a valuable asset in the field.

Wayne Simmons holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in aerospace mechanical engineering from Glyndwr University. Wayne also completed an NVQ level 4 in engineering leadership from Airbus. Prior to that, they obtained a BTEC National Diploma in mechanical engineering with a focus on manufacturing engineering from llandrillo college.
