Alex Cabañas

Alex Cabañas currently serves on the Board of Directors at Convene since March 2024. As Executive Chairman and President of Pyramid Global Hospitality since September 2021, Alex has been instrumental in driving the company’s strategic direction. Previously, Alex was the Chief Executive Officer of BENCHMARK, A Global Hospitality Company from January 2014 to September 2021, and held various leadership positions at Benchmark Resorts & Hotels from 2006 to 2014. Alex began a career at The Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant from 2000 to 2006. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and both a BBA and MS in Finance from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
