Chris Amaris

Chief Technology Officer & Partner at Convergent Computing

Chris Amaris is the Chief Technology Officer and Partner at Convergent Computing. Prior to this, Amaris was a board member for the Chabot Space & Science Center and the Institute of International Education. In 2019, Amaris was the graduation commencement speaker for Saint Mary's College of California. From 1995 to 2001, Amaris was a volunteer guide dog for the blind puppy raiser.

Chris Amaris' educational career includes a BA in Political Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA in Business Management from Saint Mary's College of California, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Capella University. Chris also has certification from the Federal Communications Commission in Amateur (HAM) Radio License - Technician, (ISC)² in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), FEMA in Introduction to Incident Command System (ICS-100), GreyCampus in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Trained and Certified, PADI in Open Water Diver, Federal Aviation Administration in Private Aircraft Pilot, and GreyCampus in Six Sigma Black Belt Training and Certification.

Chris Amaris reports to Rand Morimoto, CEO & President. They are on a team with Glenn Walton - Principal Consultant, Eva Soohoo - Chief Financial Officer & VP, Human Resources, and David Ross - Principal Consultant & Partner.
