Daniel Probst has a strong background in engineering and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Daniel co-founded Engineering Systems Analysis in 2003, where they served as a Senior Engineer and managed a team of engineers. Daniel also played a key role in business decision-making and crafting the strategic vision for the company. In 2010, they founded Probst Innovation, an engineering consultancy focused on product development. During their time there, they developed and marketed an engine data acquisition software product. In 2011, they joined Convergent Science, Inc. as a Senior Principal Engineer, where they led the development of machine learning and optimization technology for simulation applications. Daniel provided expertise in energy conversion and storage technology and thermal-fluid systems to clients in research and product development.
Daniel Probst completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From 1995 to 1999, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and English. Daniel then furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, completing their studies from 2000 to 2002.
