Matt Kopp

Matt Kopp is currently the Director of Client Technology Solutions at Convergent. Matt has over fifteen years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on sales and business development.

Matt began their career as an intern at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network in 2003. Matt then went on to become the owner of NetworxPlus, LLC in 2004. After four years, they joined Alliant Technologies as the Manager of Business Development. In this role, they were responsible for developing relationships with key partners, Cisco and NetApp, and driving sales of the entire portfolio which included managed services, AT&T, and Verizon. Matt successfully met and exceeded all metrics set for the Business Development team.

In 2010, Matt moved to MTM Technologies where they served as Solutions Manager. In this role, they were responsible for prospecting new accounts and logos, as well as developing relationships with key partners such as Cisco, NetApp, and RSA. Matt successfully sold the entire product portfolio which included managed services, structured cabling, and Alliant Technologies.

Matt is currently the SVP of Engineering at Convergent and is responsible for leading a team of engineers that design and develop products and solutions for clients.

Matt Kopp has a BS in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University. Matt is also certified by Citrix in Citrix NetScaler SD-WAN Certified (CC-SDWAN), Brocade in Brocade Certified Network Engineer (BCNE), Microsoft in Microsoft Certified Specialist: Server Virtualization with Hyper-V and System Center, EMC in Cloud Infrastructure and Services Associate (EMCCIS), Dell EMC in Cloud Infrastructure and Services Associate Version 1, Cisco Cloud Networking Group in Certified Meraki Network Associate, and Cisco in Cisco Certified Network Associate - Route/Switch.

Their manager is Christopher J. Jones, President & CEO. They work with John Landis - Director of Operations & Managed Services, Bernie Elchin - SVP of Corporate Operations & Risk Management, and John-Frank Stubits - Director of Sales & Business Development.
