David Hurley has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. David is currently the Co-Founder of Komo, a position they took on in January 2022. Prior to this, they were also a Co-Founder at Conversify, starting in January 2020.
In 2020, David was part of the Next AI 2020 Cohort at NEXT Canada, a role that lasted from May 2020 to August 2022.
Before that, David worked as a Growth Engineer at GrowthGenius from May 2018 to January 2020. David was responsible for establishing a new channel for business generation through LinkedIn.
From July 2016 to April 2018, David held the role of Head of Growth at Planswell, where they built their onboarding process and created a successful Facebook ad funnel. During their time at Planswell, they also built a sales team and implemented motivation strategies through a custom sales leaderboard.
David's experience also includes working as a Growth Marketer at #paid from April 2015 to July 2016. David developed an algorithm to calculate influencer earnings and utilized the Instagram API for outreach.
In addition, David held various roles at Top Hat from February 2013 to January 2015, including Account Executive and Account Coordinator. At Top Hat, they collaborated with professors to create engaging classroom environments using mobile devices.
David Hurley's early work experience includes a role as a National Marketing Consultant at DealFind.com from November 2011 to November 2012. David collaborated with different teams to create effective marketing campaigns for online retailers while providing attractive deals for Dealfind customers.
David Hurley's education history is as follows:
- From 2005 to 2009, David attended Queen's University, where they pursued a degree in Science with a focus on Mathematics and Economics.
- In 2012, they studied Web Design and Development at St. Lawrence College.
- David further advanced their skills in Web Design and Development by attending Ryerson University from 2013 to 2014.
- In 2015, David participated in an Immersive Web Development Program at General Assembly Canada, specializing in JavaScript, Ruby, and Rails.
- During the same year, they also completed a program in User Experience Design at General Assembly Canada.
