Jam Mayer has a diverse work experience in various roles related to digital marketing, blogging, and community organization. They have worked as the Chief Conversologist at Conversologie since 2016, leading a team and providing digital services and mentoring. They have also been a Contributing Writer for Chatbot's Life since 2019. Furthermore, Jam Mayer has organized bloggers meetups as a Community Organizer for the New Zealand Bloggers Network since 2013. They have also volunteered as a Hootsuite Ambassador for New Zealand, managed their own company called Social Imageries, and worked as a Digital Marketing Tutor at NZIE. Additionally, Jam Mayer has been a Committee Member for the Social Media Club Auckland, where they help organize monthly events and manage live streams. They have briefly worked as a Lecturer for Social Media Marketing at the Unitec Institute of Technology. Lastly, they have worked as a Business Development & Digital Marketing Manager for VerdiPlus and as a Business Development & Operations Manager for Virtual Connections LTD.
Jam Mayer earned a BSBA degree in Computer Applications from De La Salle University between 1990 and 1994. In 2020, Jam received an Akimbo Certificate Granted from Akimbo in The Bootstrapper's Workshop. Additionally, Jam obtained the Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite in 2022 and the Persuasive UX: Ethics of Persuasive Design certification from Lynda.com in 2019.
