Dan Kumpf

Dan Kumpf currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Convex U.S. at Convex Insurance, a position held since September 2021. Prior to this role, Kumpf founded Kumpf Consulting, LLC in June 2020 and led it until September 2021. From January 2017 to April 2020, Kumpf was the Global Chief Underwriting Officer for Professional Lines at AXA XL, and previously held the position of Chief Executive for the Professional Lines division at XL Catlin from February 2015 to January 2017. Kumpf's extensive experience in the insurance sector includes serving as the Global Head of Long-Tail Lines at Catlin Insurance from May 2009 to February 2015, as well as Director of U.S. Professional Lines. Kumpf holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dickinson College and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Management from La Salle University.
