Gareth Mitchell

Gareth Mitchell is a senior finance and accounting professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry, beginning as a trainee auditor in 1996. After developing expertise in insurance audit at PwC in both Manchester and Sydney, Gareth transitioned to industry roles, including Group Financial Controller at Challenger Limited and various interim finance leadership positions at notable organizations such as Centrica and Aviva. Currently serving as the UK Financial Controller and Head of Accounting Technical at Convex Insurance, Gareth has a proven track record of managing financial operations and transformations across multiple sectors. They hold a BSc in Mathematics with Statistics from Newcastle University and an ACA qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
